Healthy Bones, Happy Pets: An Introduction to Pet Orthopedics

Dr. Kalff, BVSc, MANZCVS, DSAS, MRCVS

Pets are unusually good at hiding when they don't feel well, which can at times pose challenges for us as pet guardians. However, one thing is always unmistakable and impossible to ignore: when a pet starts limping, something is amiss!

There are many reasons a pet might suffer from an orthopedic ailment, including congenital malformations, age- or disease-related degeneration, genetic predisposition, and injury.

In this webinar, Dr. Stephen Kalff will offer a broad introduction to orthopedic issues in pets, sharing helpful information about common orthopedic problems, as well as what we can do to manage and treat them.

Throughout the talk, Dr. Kalff will include examples of parallels between humans and pets.

Dr. Kalff is a board-certified surgical specialist at Pacific and Santa Cruz Veterinary Specialists. His primary professional interests are joint replacement, trauma, and canine elbow disease.

Join us on Tuesday, December 10 to learn more!

This webinar will be held on Zoom. A recording will be provided to registrants who are unable to attend.
