Sarah Weagle, RVT; Program coordinator
Sarah is a Registered Veterinary Technician who has been working in the veterinary field for over 20+ years. She is passionate about veterinary medicine and animal welfare. Sarah has fostered over 30 dogs in her lifetime, and currently has 5 dogs of her own. She has volunteered for local shelters, animal rescues, and adoption organizations over the years.
Sarah has always formed a special relationship with every animal that she meets, especially dogs and cats. Having a career in veterinary medicine, Sarah has always been passionate about giving a voice to the voiceless, while helping animals in their most dire times of need. She has a huge soft spot for disabled animals, having all geriatric and special needs pets of her own, and continuing to adopt and foster old and injured dogs and rehabilitating them until they find a home of their own.
She is pictured here with three of her rescue dogs, Opie, Juice, and Bella. Bella was Sarah’s heart-dog and is missed dearly by Sarah and her family every day. Sarah honors Bella’s life daily in the work that she does all throughout the community.
